OREM A gender and sexuality expert will speak on the history of sexuality Monday at 7 p.m. in the Utah Valley State College Liberal Arts Building, Room 101.
"Straights, Gays and Everybody Else: Does Sexuality Have a History?" will be presented by University of Utah history professor Elizabeth Clement as part of UVSC's Turning Points in History lecture series.
"A lot of people think sexuality is somehow biological and somehow it hasn't changed over time, and that just isn't true," said Clement in a prepared statement. "So it will be nice to introduce new ideas to people and discuss the power, identity and purpose of sexuality."
The lecture is free and open to the public.
