WEST VALLEY CITY — Utah Grizzlies forward Scott Burt has been recalled to the Grizzlies' AHL affiliate in Bridgeport, Conn., joining Grizzlies teammate Ryan Kinasewich with the Sound Tigers. Kinasewich, the Grizzlies' all-time leading scorer, was called up last weekend.

Burt, the reigning ECHL player of the week, departs Utah with five goals and six assists in eight games. He is the Grizzlies leading scorer and has a team-high six-game scoring streak (five goals, five assists) working at the time of his exit.

A veteran of 518 professional games, Burt makes his first trip to the AHL in his 11th professional season. He will be with the Sound Tigers when they host Worcester this morning at the Arena at Harbor Yard.

Kinasewich, promoted Saturday, scored Bridgeport's game-winning goal Sunday in its 3-0 win over Norfolk.

Utah returns to the E Center Friday, Saturday and Monday hosting Victoria. All Utah home games start at 7 p.m.
