Security personnel at Temple Square detained a man who police said robbed a woman at an ATM.

Salt Lake City police said the victim was entering an ATM enclosure at South Temple and Main Street on Friday evening when a man punched her in the head several times and took her shoulder bag. A witness heard the woman scream, jumped out of his vehicle and kicked the suspect, causing him to drop the bag.

Police said Travis Tully, 29, then ran, but was captured by LDS Church security near 150 W. North Temple. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
