Interesting story from the San Diego Union-Tribune about ongoing efforts to help victims dig out from the rubble left by the recent fires in the San Diego area. The story focuses on a group of 600 volunteers -- "mostly members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" -- who out working in the area last Saturday. "They probably saved me a month's worth of work myself," said one fire victim. "I would have been doing it all myself. It was huge to me."
