SANDY — Four people were stabbed during a fight that erupted in the middle of a Halloween party here Saturday night.

Two people were hospitalized in critical condition and two others were treated for minor injuries, said Sandy Police Sgt. Dave Worthington.

The knife was produced by a man after he was attacked by several people at once, Worthington said.

The knife was not part of a costume, Worthington said.

The man who had the knife fled the scene, but police believe they know his identity. No arrests had been made by Sunday evening.

The party was held near 9900 South and Tamara Street (1270 East), Worthington said.
