Perfection returned to the Grid Picks contest as fewer upsets were posted last week.

(Just 11 percent of the 1,019 entries picked UCLA to defeat California.)

Daniel White of Elmo missed the USU-Nevada tiebreaker by 18 points to secure tickets to an upcoming football game and a Grid Picks T-shirt.

Also a perfect 12-for-12 were Neal Wilson of Lansing, Mich., and Tyler Nielson of Blanding. They, along with Karl Wood of Las Cruses, N.M.; C.O. Heyborne of Cedar City; Gabe Gutierrez of Alpine; and Tom Sorenson of Salt Lake City, who picked 11 games correctly, will receive T-shirts.

Among media panelists, Greg Wrubell went 10-2, Tom Kirkland was 9-3, Jon Ringwood 8-4, Loren Jorgensen 6-6 and Amy Donaldson 5-7. Kirkland leads Wrubell by a single pick overall.

To enter this week's contest, go to and click on the Grid Picks line in Sports. Only one entry per e-mail address and entries are due by 5 p.m. Friday.

Because of the postponement of the BYU-San Diego State game, this week's winner will be chosen by a random selection of the computer among the top finishers.
