Public education means that the public spends money to educate its children. If we, the public, can do so for an average of $2,000 instead of $7,500 (the fixed rate for public schools) by the use of vouchers, what is the problem? What does it matter what kind of school we use? They are all — public and private— working to educate our children. Vote for Ref 1.
