Was: 1. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Knights are playing so well the only question is whether any squad will even be able to compete with them.

2. Highland (16-1) Class: 4A

Was: 2. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Rams lost two varsity players, including starter Mel White, but remain one of the state's best teams.

3. Cottonwood (22-4) 4A

Was: 3. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Colts have both the talent and depth as the season approaches its final two weeks.

4. Box Elder (25-3) Class: 4A

Was: 5. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Bees have just a few more matches to go to remain unbeaten in region play.

5. Dixie (14-5) Class: 4A

Was: 5. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Flyers head into the second half of region play with high hopes of earning a region title.

6. Snow Canyon (10-6) 4A

Was: 6. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Warriors will be looking to steal part of the region's top honor.

7. Rich (16-5) Class: 1A

Was: 7. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Rebels don't have a superstar, but many teams would like to know how they stay so consistent.

8. Skyline (20-5) Class: 5A

Was: 8. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Eagles will be looking to defeat the Trojans, as well as win their regular region matches.

9. Morgan (19-6) Class: 5A

Was: 9. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Trojans look to the 5A ranks for a pre-tournament challenge that will test their abilities.

10. Viewmont (21-6) Class: 5A

Was: 11. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Vikings edge Fremont in battle of Region 1's top teams.

11. Fremont (14-8) Class: 5A

Was: 10. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: The Silver Wolves need to find consistent success if they're going to reach their potential at state.

12. Brighton (11-4) Class: 5A

Was: 12. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Bengals edged Taylorsville in order to stay solidly in second place in Region 2 race.

13. Layton (8-5) Class: 4A

Was: 13. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: The Lancers seemed to have hit a plateau, but they have an athletic and competitive squad that could still surprise.

14. Hurricane (18-5) Class: 3A

Was: 15. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Tigers may have an advantage over other 3A schools as they compete against three 4A schools in region play.

15. Carbon (18-5) Class: 3A

Was: 16. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Dinos handle each new challenge with the same consistently solid play.

16. Pleasant Grove (7-9) 5A

Was: 18. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Vikings knocked off American Fork as they proved their comeback is for real.

17. Sky View (20-3) Class: 4A

Was: 17. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Bobcats will offer interesting challenges at the 4A state tournament.

18.American Fork (13-6) 5A

Was: 16. Last week: 0-1. Outlook: The Cavemen suffer a second region loss but could still make some noise in the final two weeks.

19.Riverton (7-3) Class: 5A

Was: 20. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Silverwolves have all the makings of a top-tier team as they approach crunch time in competitive region play.

Was: -. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Bruins have begun to separate themselves from the rest of the Region 4 pack.
