Trentino will be the topic of discussion Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Italian Center of the West's series on the regions of Italy.
The free presentation features a short documentary on the region and a question and answer session by Mary Ann Anselim Ravarino, Utah's only resident to be given the title of Cavaliere by the Italian government.
The 7 p.m. presentation will be at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, 423 W. 300 South.
Trentino, the birthplace of Ravarino's parents, was part of Austria and Hungary until after World War I, when it became part of Italy. In Utah, her father founded the first Italian-American club, the "Friendly Club." It was later known as the "Trentini."
