WEST VALLEY CITY — Eighteen former Utah Grizzlies are on NHL rosters as the 2007-08 season gets under way.

Former Grizzlies Jon Sim and Richard Park will suit up with the Grizzlies' new parent club, the New York Islanders, on Friday as they open their season against the Buffalo Sabres. Former Grizzlies equipment manager Richard "Shakey" Krouse serves as the Islanders' assistant equipment manager.

Earlier this summer, Grizzlies trainer Andy Hosler accepted a position with the Nashville Predators as assistant athletic trainer.
