Salt Lake County Aging Services encourages seniors 60 years of age or older in the county to attend the annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the County Government Center, 2001 S. State in the southeast parking lot (enter from 200 East).

Attendees are encouraged to wear short sleeves or shirt sleeves that can be easily pulled up. Older adults in particular are urged to get an annual flu shot.

Consult your primary care provider if you are currently ill with a moderate or severe illness; are allergic to eggs or egg products; have had a severe allergic reaction after receiving a previous flu shot.

Seniors will need to present a Medicare Part B; Railroad Medicare Part B; Regence MedAdvantage by BCBS; Humana; Secure Horizons Direct; Unicare documents or a suggested $20 donation. For more information, call Salt Lake County Aging Services' Healthy Aging Program at 468-2772.
