A house fire in Lindon Saturday resulted in up to $175,000 in damage but no injuries.
The blaze near 200 East and 200 North started in the kitchen, Pleasant Grove Police Lt. Clark Nielsen said. The tenants had just moved out and were cleaning to ready the house for sale. The oven, set on self-clean, apparently caught fire, he said.
"We don't know why it started," Nielsen said. No one was home at the time.
The kitchen, adjacent rooms and garage were affected.
