Tracy was born April 1, 1956 to Bryon Lee Cassell (deceased) and Patricia Christensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died April 17, 1999 of injuries due to an automobile accident in St. George, Utah.

Tracy grew up in Sandy, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest high School in 1974. She married David Hofheins on August 13, 1983. They had three beautiful children, whom she adored. They were later divorced.She worked many different jobs and had many talents. She was artistic and created many beautiful thinsg. She was a great friend. She had an infectious laugh, a great sense of humor and lit up every room she entered.

She moved to St. George, Utah, to attend Dixie College and was employed by the Elk's Lodge. She diligently prepared to earn her Associates Degree in Biological Sciences. Graduation day was set for May 7, 1999. She was a compassiionate caregiver and planned to attend nursing school this summer for which her talents were well suited.

She was very much loved by her children, family and her many friends. Her father, who was very special to her, preceded Tracy in death. She is survived by her three children, Ryan, 15; Chelsee, 11; and Riley, 9. Also their father, David Hofheins; Tracy's mother and step-father, Patricia and Karl Christensen, Mesquite, NV; brothers, Brett Cassell, Fallon, NV; Patrick Cassell (Kathy), Sandy, UT; and many nieces and nephews.

We love you, Tracy. It's so hard to say goodbye.

Gravside Services will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah, 1075 East 4580 So. on Wed., April 21st at 11 a.m.
