Summer is the perfect time for children and parents to master the Davis County Library's computer catalog.

A step-by-step instruction booklet teaches children how to use the computer catalog. Children can learn how to conduct author, title and subject searches, how to interpret the information on each book and how to locate the books. After completing the booklet, children become "fully licensed users" of the computer catalog and receive a "license."There are no age limits, and parents are encouraged to learn along with their children. Booklets are available during regular library hours, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
