Entry forms for Centerville's annual Fourth of July parade are available now, and the parade committee this year is making a special effort to attract entrants and floats from outside communities.

Parade committee chairman Darlene Randall said a $100 prize is being offered this year to the best out-of-town entry, in addition to $100 prizes to the best family float and non-profit organization entry. This year's theme is "Centerville Celebrates the Constitution." Entry forms are available from the Centerville city office, 520 N. Fourth West, and information is available through June 9 from Darlene Randall, 295-6171; June 9-12 from Jane Randall, 292-9596; and from June 13 through the June 15 entry deadline from Darlene Randall.

As part of the city's celebration, a fund-raiser for Centerville resident Kenna Bailey, who will appear in the parade, is being held. Bailey is the current U.S. champion in junior pairs ice skating and is working toward competition in the 1992 Olympics.

She recently appeared in the Utah on Ice revue in Bountiful, and she and her partner, John Denton, have been invited to compete in the international Coupes de Alpes competition in France and Germany this summer.

Tax-deductible donations may be made to the United States Figure Skating Association (BFA) Memorial Fund, through Dale Perry, 115 S. Eighth East, Centerville, 84014, or telephone Kaye Bailey, 292-7541, or Darlene Randall, 295-6171.
