Salt Lake County deputy sheriffs are investigating an armed robbery in which two men entered a restaurant, leaped head-first over a counter and demanded money Saturday, a sheriff's report said.

Two employees at the restaurant, 1844 E. 70th South, were in the back of the restaurant when two men entered through a front door about 12:55 a.m., the report said.The men "jumped head-first over the counter, landing on the floor," the report said. One man, holding a handgun, asked for money while handing a clerk plastic grocery bags.

"Let's fill 'em up," the man said.

The clerk complied, giving the man an undetermined amount of cash before both men fled on foot, the report said.
