The California woman who Friday filed a $6 million palimony suit against four-time American League batting champion Wade Boggs has a police record, The Boston Herald reported today.

Police of Costa Mesa, Calif., said Margo Adams, 32, "is not your perfect citizen," and her name appears on the police crime computer, the newspaper said.

Adams filed suit in Orange County Superior Court, charging the Boston Red Sox third baseman with fraud and breach of oral contract. Adams said Boggs failed to compensate her for money she lost in income and commissions as a mortgage broker while she accompanied him on road trips the past four years.

The suit seeks $500,000 in wages Adams said she lost to accompany Boggs on 65 road trips over 240 days, the newspaper said.
