Mike Tyson says he's bitter and defensive - and a threat to explode.

The former heavyweight champion, who is trying to win back his license to fight, made the comments in an interview in this month's Playboy magazine."I know I'm going to blow one day," Tyson was quoted as saying in the profanity-laced interview, which was conducted in July before his appearance in front of the New Jersey Athletic Commission.

He described himself as a "hateful individual."

"My life is doomed the way it is, I have no future," Tyson said. "I feel bad about my outlook, how I feel about people and society and that I'll never be part of society the way I should."

He saw only gloom ahead for him.

"I expect the worst to happen in my life. I expect people to . . . treat me bad," Tyson said, adding that he expects someday someone to shoot him.

Tyson lost his license for biting champion Evander Holyfield's ears during their championship fight.

Of that incident, Tyson said he was enraged and angry. "I wanted to kill him, bite him," he said.
