Nu Skin Enterprises will venture into South America starting in November.
The Provo-based personal care and nutrition products company plans to use Brazil as a hub for future expansion on the continent. Nu Skin will start selling its products to new distributors on Nov. 11."Brazil represents a significant growth opportunity for Nu Skin," said Steven J. Lund, president and chief executive officer. "Brazil is not only the third largest direct selling market in the world but also a very strong personal care products market."
The multilevel marketing company will open offices and walk-in distribution centers in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Brazil marks the 27th country in which Nu Skin does business.
