Alberto Vilar shouldn't have any trouble getting a seat for upcoming productions at the Metropolitan Opera.

Vilar, a high-tech stocks adviser and opera buff, is giving $25 million to the Met - and getting its grand tier named after him in return.The founder and president of Amerindo Investment Advisors and a member of the Met board's executive committee, Vilar will give $20 million outright over the next few years along with a $5 million challenge grant.
