Iris Dyson Lamoreaux, 64, peacefully passed away Sept. 28, 1998, at her home in Kamas, Utah.
She was born July 11, 1934, in Tipton, England to Sidney Harry Lane and Elizabeth Pratt Lane. Married Frederick Dyson April 1953, in England; later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 1958. He preceded her in death in 1960. She later married Dee Lamoreaux and later divorced.She worked at Lambs Grill for 20 plus years where she was known as "Luv". She served and touched many lives and hearts. She was a lover of animals both large and small, including her dogs and horses which were the love of her life.
She enjoyed many activities, such as fishing, trips to Wendover, Sunday joy rides and visiting with family and friends, along with being an avid Jazz fan. She was our mother and friend and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her three children: Keith (Diane) Dyson, David (Shawna) Dyson, Elizabeth (Allen) Davis; grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Mathew, Brenda, Zeke, and Mike; sister, Kath and Ron Beddows; sister-in-law, Hilda Lane, both of England. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Lane.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Oct. 3, 1998, 2 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
