Jan Jones-Schenk, Park City, has been elected to serve on the American Nurses Association Board of Directors. She was also recently appointed president of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the ANA. Jones-Schenk is one of 15 nurses across the country elected to serve on the board of directors. She recently completed a two-year appointed term. Her current tenure on the board will last four years.
She has also served on the ANCC board since 1997 and has provided credentialing consulting since 1990. In addition, she has been active in forming a statewide coalition of nurses to ensure cooperative clinical planning between medical personnel for the Salt Lake Olympic Committee.Jones-Schenk is the owner of jjs Associates, a health-care consulting firm in Park City.
