Harry C. Marugg, 65, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 1998 of heart failure.

He was born April 7, 1933 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, a son of Harry and Marie Marugg. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School and Lafayette College, PA.He married his high school sweetheart, Anne Stone, on June 11, 1955. They moved to Connecticut where he was employed by Pratt and Whitney. In 1959, they moved to Brigham City when he accepted a position at Thiokol. He retired as Director of Programs in the Tactical Division in 1990.

Harry got his pilot's license when he was 16 and remained an avid flyer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He had a wonderful sense of humor...as many of his friends will testify. He was especially proud of his family.

He is survived by his wife, Anne, of Brigham City, UT; daughters, Kathy (Noel) Stibor, of Afton, WY; and Lori (John) Skrlac, of Wasilla, AK; son, Ed (Janet) Marugg, of Pocatello, ID; granddaughter, Marie Stibor; grandsons, Greg Stibor, Charlie Stibor, Matthew Skrlac, Michael Skrlac, Joshua Marugg, and Bridger Marugg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie.

An Open House to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, October 1, 1998, from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Marugg residence, 673 Medoland Drive, in Brigham City. Arrangements made by Petersen Funeral Chapel.
