Glen Alonzo Robinson is with his eternal companion, Elma Call Robinson. Glen is our father, "granddaddy," brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away of a stroke at his home on September 28, 1998.

Glen was born February 9, 1911, in Mt. Green, Morgan County, Utah, the son of Alonzo Rowel and Charlotte Sophia Simmons Robinson, in the home of pioneer grandparents.Glen graduated from Morgan High School in 1929, where he participated in football and baseball. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1936. His degree was in Chemical Engineering.

February 9, 1937, he married Elma Willey Call in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked for Kennecott, Remington Rand in New York, North American and Northrup in California. Retired from Hill Field. Glen had many callings in the ward and stake, a calling in the regional committee in California, Counselor in the Bishopric, Stake Missionary, and MIA. At the time of his death, he worked in the ward library. He loved the gospel teachings. Glen was such a wonderful help to his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Robinson Kammeyer and her husband Robert Ernest Kammeyer; grandchildren, Robin and John Whittaker (Salt Lake City); Denton and Catherine Kammeyer (Bountiful); Kent and Rebekah Kammeyer (Woods Cross); Laurie and David Evans (Bartlett, IL); Debbie and Michael Opoulos (Bountiful); and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles and wife Marie Robinson; sister, Lois Painter; sister-in-law, Dorothy Call; also special friend, Betty Anderson.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thur., Oct. 1, 1998 at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and again Thursday morning from 11:45 - 12:45 p.m. prior to service. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
