Kenneth Melvin Warren died September 27, 1998 at his home in Spanish Fork, of a lingering illness, with his family by his side.

Kenneth was born in Nephi, Utah, February 23, 1914 to Melvin and Arvella (Broadhead) Warren. He married Fay Jackman, February 25, 1936 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He graduated from Nephi High School. They moved to Spanish Fork, where he worked for Smith's Auto Company. He later went into business for himself and was the owner of Ken's Service. He was a member of the Diamond Fork Riding Club, and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and raced horses for several years. He enjoyed deer hunting and the outdoors, and hunted every year until he was 79. Ken was a High Priest in the LDS Church where he held positions in various organizations.He is survived by his wife of 62 years; five children, three sons and two daughters: Lois (George) Haney, Spanish Fork; Neil (Katy) Warren, Springfield MO; Ann (Kay) Hansen, of Palmyra, UT; David (Dorothy) Warren, of Springfield, MO; and Rodney (Martha) Warren, Spanish Fork; 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice (Delwin) Shepherd, of Levan, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Malcolm Warren; and a great-great-grandson.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday October 2, 1998 in the Spanish Fork 10th Ward Chapel, 505 East 900 North. Friends may call Thursday October 1, 1998 from 6-8 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary of Spanish Fork, 187 South Main, or one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
