Denise Park Roach, 43, died on Sunday, September 27, 1998 at her home in Spanish Fork, Utah of cancer.
She was born July 5, 1955 in Spanish Fork Utah to Lyle Harper and Betty Lou Backus Park. She married Clyde Simkins Roach April 18, 19754 in the Manti Temple.Denise grew up in Spanish Fork and graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended BYU. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she fulfilled many callings in Relief Society, Young Womens, and Primary. She was also involved in the scouting program and PTA. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.
Survived by her husband Clyde, of Spanish Fork; children, Aaron Myles (Daishan) Roach, of Orem; Elder Nicholas Dwaine Roach, serving in the Venezuela Caracas Mission; Alecia Marie Roach and Ashley Roach, of Spanish Fork; parents, Lyle and Betty Park, of Spanish Fork; sisters, Terrie Ann (Greg) Kretchmer, of Payson; Suzanne (DeLoy) Davis, of Salem; grandfather, James A. Backus, of Spanish Fork; mother-in-law, Lois G. Roach, of Spanish Fork; brother-in-law, Richard B. (Kristee) Roach, of Spanish Fork; sister-in-law, Elaine Roach Peterson, of Mapleton.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., September 30, 1998 at the Spanish Fork 14th LDS Chapel, 1750 East 750 South. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, 187 south Main and at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to service. Burial in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
