Paul Dalco Schuman, 83, died September 27, 1998 in Holladay.
Born August 11, 1915 in Harrisberg, West Virginia to Frederick Honald and Numa Bell Ames Schumann. Married Viola Huntsman in Wellsberg, West Virginia July 11, 1936. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August 31, 1965. Paul was an active member of the LDS Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He worked as a lithographer for 55 years in the printing industry. He enjoyed traveling and sports, most of all golf, which he played from age 14 through 83. Other special interests included his family.He loved attending all his grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events. He served three years in the C. C. Camps, and retired from Brigham Young University Printing Service. He served as a temple worker and as a teacher at the American Fork Training School.
Paul is survived by his wife, Viola Huntsman Schuman; children, Ronald Lee and Sally Schuman, St. George, Utah; Frederick James and Nancy Schuman, of Garden Valley, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Williams, Cuyahuga Falls, Ohio. Paul was preceded in death by one son, Dalco Ray Schuman.
Funeral service, Wednesday, September 30th, 1 p.m., Midvale 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 97 West 7500 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Wednesday 12 noon-1 p.m. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
