Veteran National Public Radio producer and host Alex Chadwick will present sounds and stories from his "Radio Expeditions" at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Auditorium, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 7 p.m.

Chadwick serves as a feature writer and a substitute host for NPR's most widely recognized news programs, "Morning Edition," in addition to his "Radio Expedition" duties. He's been with NPR for more than 20 years."We're very excited about Alex's visit," KUER News Director Doug Fabrizio said. "His work is outstanding. He's an exemplary writer who uses sound very efficiently, and he's just a great storyteller."

Chadwick is stopping in Salt Lake after his visit to Banff, Canada, where he has been hiking, writing and recording for the next edition of "Radio Expeditions." His reports will be titled "From Yellowstone to the Yukon." He'll share some of those experiences with his Salt Lake audience.

The appearance is sponsored by KUER and admission tickets are $5, available from the Kingsbury Hall box office.
