He's not on a Wheaties box saluting his athletic prowess. Instead, John Tesh will be showing up on more than 12 million Kelloggs boxes as the poster boy for the cereal maker's heart-healthy campaign.
"When I was growing up, high-fat cooking and eating was the norm. Today, it's easier than most people think to eat well, exercise and not smoke," Tesh said. The Kelloggs public service cereal box campaign, which works with the American Heart Association's "For Heart's Sake" program, offers a specially produced CD with some of Tesh's New Age tunes.
Previous artists tapped by Kelloggs and the heart association have included country singers Trisha Yearwood and Clint Black.
