A tram, one of Hong Kong's oldest modes of transportation, is repainted in the original green color, center, Monday. Trams began operating in Hong Kong in 1904 and at present carry more than 350,000 passengers a day along 18 miles of track. Also in Hong Kong, the city is holding a contest to rename the former British governor's official residence. Many in the community feel the structure should be renamed to reflect Hong Kong's new sovereign position in the world.
