Daymon Vincent Petersen, 41, passed away on September 27, 1998, in Salt Lake City.
He was born on August 1, 1957, in Murray, Utah to Ray Craig and Donna Tibble Petersen. He married Cindy Pierce, July 13, 1985. He has a daughter and two sons. He was a good and loving husband and devoted father. He attended Kearns High School and Salt Lake Community College. He was previously employed by the Utah National Guard as road crew supervisor.He enjoyed time with his family. He coached T-ball with his boys and was the apartment school tutor. He loved outdoor activities, dutch-oven cooking, scouting, helicopter rides and Saturday night poker. He enjoyed his association with the Transplant Olympics. He was a good friend to everyone and was always willing to listen. Daymon will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter and two sons, Courtney Devon Citi, 15, Zachary Everett, 12, and Whitney Ray, 9. Also survived by his mother, Donna Petersen; a brother, Claude Petersen; two sisters, Claudia Henricks, and Jenice Henrie. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray C. Petersen.
Funeral services will be at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, Utah at 11 a.m. where friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Primary Children's Cardiology Department.
