Andy, age 69, passed away Saturday, September 26, 1998.

He was born September 25, 1929 in Boydton, VA, to Charlie Z. and Mary Harrison Anderson. He was raised in Boydton, VA and moved to Utah after serving a tour of duty in the Navy during the Korean War. He met the love of his life, Mary Delliskave, and they were married Oct. 31, 1952. Andy worked for Interstate Brick for 35 years and was forced to take an early medical retirement.Andy was a loving, caring, and devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. He loved his family, fishing, baseball, and basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Salt Lake City; children, Peggy (Joel) Savage, Mickey (Mary) Anderson, all of Sandy; Tami (Paul) Benton of Washington, Chuck (Tonya) Anderson of Oregon; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Roy (Ruby) Anderson, Ruth Carlton, Geroge (Linda) Anderson, all of Virginia; Ann L. Anderson of New York. Preceded in death by brother, Milton; and parents.

It hurts so much to lose you, but we know your pain is gone. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We love you.

The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU at Cottonwood Hospital. The special care you gave Andy meant so much.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), where friends and relatives may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wed., one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Lung Association.
