Richard Brenchley Leishman died September 26, 1998.
Born October 11, 1896 to Robert and Mary Ann Leishman. Married Flora Caroline Herb on April 17, 1920. Richard worked for the Rio Grand Railroad as a blacksmith for 40 years. He enjoyed life. He became more active in the LDS Church after his retirement. Richard will be remembered most for his abounding joy of the outdoors, especially fishing. He was an avid gardener and he was gifted with the ability to play and sing any tune. He was extremely competitive, especially while driving.Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Flora; his daughter, Beth Mary; and son, Richard; his five brothers and three sisters and many of his fishing partners. He is survived by his daughter, Lenore Wilbanks; his four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 1998, 11 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
