Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Gene Turner Bagley, age 71, passed away September 24, 1998 of injuries sustained in an industrial accident.

Gene was born December 4, 1926, to W. Franklin Bagley and Ada S. Turner Bagley in Sandy, Utah. Attended Murray High School, enlisted in the Navy and served in the Pacific area in World War II. Worked in the steel fabrication industry all his life. He was currently employed with the U.S. Forest Service in Panguitch, Utah. He lived in Murray, Utah until he retired to Panguitch.Married Betty Slusher, December 28, 1945, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survived by his wife; six children: Linda, Murray; Karen Swanger (Rick), Panguitch; Claudia Hodges (Mike), Sandy; Craig Bagley (Terry) and Leslie Hall (Kip), both of Taylorsville; Kevin, New York; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents and four brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Monday, September 28, 1998 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive, where family and friends may call Sunday, September 27th from 5-7 p.m. and on Monday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
