Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Louise Margaret Rueckert Boren, age 83, passed away September 24, 1998, in Bountiful, Utah.

Louise was born September 8, 1915, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of George Michael and Augusta Julia Link Rueckert. She married Wilford Friedrick Boren on April 8, 1932 in Tooele, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Wilford preceded her in death on April 16, 1985. Louise was active in the LDS Church. She served a mission with her husband in the Colorado Denver Mission in 1975, and another mission in 1986 to the Chicago, Illinois Temple. She served in the Salt Lake Wilford Stake German Extraction Program and in the Salt Lake Temple. She took pride in her large posterity and enjoyed traveling, knitting and Skip-bo. Louise was kind, loving, and devoted to her family. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Her passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.Survivors include two sons and three daughters, Emma B. (Robert) Harris, Wilford F. (Carma) Boren, Arlene B. (Louis Deceased) Grandstaff, Ralph O. (Margene) Boren, Beverly B. (Darrell) Bowen; 21 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie R. Pehrson, Tigard, Oregon; sister-in-law, Ann Rueckert, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Winnifred; her parents; eight brothers, and one sister.

Funeral service will be held Monday, September 28, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Garden Heights South Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 So.). Friends may call Sunday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 North `N' Street. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
