The president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, will visit Utah as a guest of industrialist Jon Huntsman.

Kocharyan, who became president of Armenia in April 1998, is scheduled to meet with Huntsman next Tuesday as well as hold a press conference. During his stay in the United State Kocharyan will address the United Nations, meet with other visiting heads of state and meet with prominent American-Armenians.Since the devastating earthquake that struck Armenia in December 1988 the Hunts-man family has given $18 million in relief to the Armenian people in the form of food, clothing, medical supplies and in building of a pre-cast concrete manufacturing plant in the capital city of Yerevan.
