Eric Max Liebelt, 68, passed away on September 15, 1998 in Salt Lake City.
He was born August 10, 1930 in Kenelworth, Utah, to Arno Liebelt and Gertrude Schimt Liebelt.Eric served in World War II in th United Stats Navy and was an active member of the LDS Church. He was interested in politics, and was especially concerned about individual rights.
He is survived by his brother, Arno Liebelt, Wells, Nevada; three sisters, Mary Gray, Lehi, Utah; Hedy McClellan, Ogden, Utah; Nancy Liebelt, American Fork, Utah; nieces, Karen Liebelt, and Rebecca Liebelt, both of American Fork, Utah; nephew, Kevin Liebelt, Camp Pendelton, California.
Funeral services Monday, September 21, 1998 at the Rose Park Stake Center East Chapel, 760 North 12th West, 11 a.m. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East First South and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment American Fork City Cemetery.
