Milan Swilor hadn't won the Utah Sectional Championship in six years, but on Wednesday he became its second three-time winner. Swilor, a teaching pro at Mountain View Golf Course, rallied from five strokes back to defeat Bloomington Country Club pro Scott Brandt by two shots.

Swilor fired a 5-under-par 67 at Sunbrook Golf Club to finish at 139, while Brandt faltered to a 74 after opening with a 74. Glen Spencer and Ryan Rhees tied for third at 142, while Steve Schneiter and Todd Meyer came in at 143.Swilor, who won the tournament in 1990 and 1992, earned $2,000 with the victory. Bob Rudd won $1,000 for winning the senior division with a 146 total, one shot better than John Evans.
