Here are some of the concerts scheduled for the upcoming week:

- GARY FIELDS, Native American flutist who performs throughout the western United States, will give a free concert on the Sundance Bridge Deck of the Sundance Ski Resort Village on Sept. 13 from noon to 2 p.m.- GIFT HORSE, a popular Bluegrass Band, will entertain audiences Sept. 13, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the Sundance Ski Resort Village. The concert is free and all are welcome.

- JAMES EDWARD GOETTSCHE, principal organist of Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, Rome, will be performing a free concert in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m.

- ADRIANNE MADSEN, opera singer, will present "A Musical Tribute to Grandparents" at Atria Crosslands, 10970 S. 700 East, Sandy, on Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m.

- DAVID MALLETT, writer of "Inch by Inch, Row by Row" and "The Garden Song," will be performing Sept. 18, 7:30 p.m., in the University of Utah Fine Arts Auditorium. Bright Blue Gorilla will be the opening band. Admission is $12 in advance, $15 the day of the concert. Tickets are available at Acoustic Music, Local Music, Salt City CD's, Intermountain Guitar and Banjo, Dan's Food Stores and all Grey Whale CD's locations.
