BYU Women will host activities and events throughout September for Brigham Young University women faculty, administration, staff and spouses of faculty.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m., a welcoming and information reception will take place in the Garden Court of the Wilkinson Center. Information regarding benefits, tours, the Faculty Center and Women's Services will be available.The opening social for BYU Women will be at 2 p.m. in the Skyroom Restaurant in the Wilkinson Center.

With the theme of "Look to the Future" and "Smell the Roses Along the Way" based on a talk given by LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley, the social will feature President Hinckley's daughters, Virginia H. Pearce and Kathleen H. Barnes, as speakers.

One of the service activities sponsored by BYU Women is an African Humanitarian Aid service project. Eighty packets of school supplies, hygiene products, games, toys and dishes are being prepared for an orphanage in Africa.
