A bank robber was picky about the money he stole from a West Central city bank Tuesday, police said.
The man, wearing a violet baseball jersey and a circle emblem around his neck, walked into Key Bank on 130 W. 2100 South about 4:30 p.m. He passed a teller a note demanding cash.The teller put a pile of cash on the counter and he sorted through it - taking some and leaving behind some, police said. He left through the bank's north doors and walked away.
The man never flashed a weapon and nobody was hurt. Police were still looking for the man late Tuesday night. He has long brown hair, is in his late 30s and stands about 5 feet 8 inches, according to witnesses.
