Elizabeth Evans Hague, 92, passed away on August 28, 1998 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 3, 1905 in Samaria, Idaho to Isaac Bowen and Bessie Mae Bolin Evans. The eighth of 12 children, she spent her early years in Franklin County, Idaho, moving to Salt Lake City in her teens. She attended East High School. On April 2, 1924, she married Lynn B. Hague.Beth and Lynn raised their two children in Salt Lake City, moving to Santa Ana, California in 1952. She returned to Salt Lake after Lynn's death in 1975, where she and her sisters enjoyed many happy years doing various crafts and participating in church activities.
Elizabeth was known by many names: Mon, Gram, Aunt Beth, Beth, Aunt Grandma, and she will be missed by all who had the privilege to be close to her.
Beth is survived by a son: Robert E. (Dee) Hague, of Roseville, CA; daughter: Joyce Lynne Hetrick, of La Verkin, UT; special daughter: Shanna Goulding, of St. George, UT; sister: Anne Burrows, of Quincy, IL; numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lynn; son: Richard Alan; and her brothers and sisters.
The family wishes to express their thanks for the care and love she was given at Atria Assisted Living, where she was residing at the time of her death.
She was interred at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, CA. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 1 p.m. at Cottonwood LDS 2nd Ward, 5165 South Donelson Lane (one block east of Highland Drive), Salt Lake City, Utah.
