Former New York Mayor Ed Koch plays himself in a new movie and gets the kind of treatment his political enemies could only dream of.

In the upcoming independent film "Somewhere in the City," Koch is kidnapped and held at gunpoint by an inept band of New York City revolutionaries, according to the New York Post.Although parts of the movie cast him in an unflattering light, the irrepressible Koch, who now serves as a "People's Court" judge, reportedly asked for no script changes.

According to the Post, Koch told director Ramin Niami, "I'm going to do it exactly as you wrote it because you actually portray me the way I am."
