On September 8, 1998 our dear, sweet little "Mama", Grandma, Grandma-Great, and friend, Elma Seal Johnson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Riverton. She left this world with the same tenacity and "spunk" that exemplified her life. She joins her eternal companion, Adolph; daughter, Marilyn; son, Ronald; grandson, Brad, and many other loved ones awaiting her arrival.

She was born September 11, 1913 at her grandmother's home in Draper to Elmer and Kathleen Walker Seal. She married Adolph Johnson December 1, 1933 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Grandma struggled in leaving behind her children, Eileen and Steve Brooks, LaMar and Shirley Johnson, Michael and Mary Johnson; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and was awaiting the arrival of her first great-great granddaughter.Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Riverton 19th Ward, 12681 South 3600 West, where funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Riverton City Cemetery.
