Vivian B. Speirs Ault, 88, died September 4, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Born October 21, 1909 in Centerville, Utah to William C. and Mable Pinney Bowdidge. Married William A. Speirs January 12, 1934. He preceded her in death in January 1963. Married George C. Ault in June of 1975. He also preceded her in death in October 1982.Vivian worked many years for Petty Motor Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. During World War II worked for the U.S. Army Engineers and finished her career at 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 8 and 40 (Womens Auxilliary of the 40 and 8) where she held many and various offices locally and nationally. She was also a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Iris Court, of which she was very proud being a member of their Marching Drill Team. She also enjoyed volunteer work at the Shriners Childrens Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter, Arlene Madsen, West Jordan, Utah; son, Robert A. Speirs, of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Francis Singleton, Bel Air, California; Mrs. Betty (George) Morgan, of Littleton, Colorado.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 1998 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Gilcrest Section), 3401 South Highland Drive. The family suggests donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital. Funeral Directors, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
