Donald Dean Sessions, 82, passed away peacefully on September 6, 1998. He will be dearly missed by those close to him.
Don was born on October 3, 1915 in Downey, Idaho to Sylvanus and Melvina Guthrie Sessions. He married Lucille Butterfield on September 6, 1942 in Preston, Idaho. He was a member of the LDS Church. On December 14, 1984 he was sealed to his wife in the Salt Lake Temple.He worked at a lumber mill in Westwood, CA. After moving his family to the Salt Lake City area, he worked at the LDS Shriners Hospitals. He then worked for the Deseret News until he retired.
Don is survived by his wife, Lucille; and children, James D., Roy L., Johnny W., David L. Sessions, and Coralene Fischer; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; also a twin sister, Dorothy Seeman. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters, and one grandson.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998 at 12 noon, at the LDS 17th Ward, 225 West 500 North, SLC, UT. Friends and family may call one hour prior to service. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Heritage Funeral Services.
