Salvador H. Lopez, 74, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away September 3, 1998.
Born September 13, 1923 in Mexico to Jesus and Blaza Hurtado Lopez. Married Annita Casillas in Mexico in 1946. Salvador worked for the Denver Rio Grande Railroad for 23 years and was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling and family activities.Survivors: wife, Annita, Midvale; children, Arturo (Margaret), Raquel Martinez, Victor (Beckie), all of West Jordan; Josefina (George) Leyba, Rose Park; Ramon, Juan (Tina), Catalina Lopez, Maria Helena (James) Lopez, all of Midvale; Chava (Sean), Tucson, Arizona; Luis (Becki), Ely, Nevada; Patricia (Joe) Raygoza, Sylmar, California; 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Guadalupe, Carmen, Berta, all of California; Petra, of Mexico. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Altagracia, Juan, Jose, Fortino, Julia, Trino and Josefina.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 9, 1998 at 10 a.m. in St. Therese Catholic Church, 75 E. Lennox St., Midvale. Holy Rosary will be recited Tuesday, at 7 p.m. at St. Therese Church where friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
