Beloved mother, grandmother, friend Erma Mabel Lund Frandsen, 87, of Gunnison died August 31, 1998 in Provo, Utah.

She was born June 26, 1911 in Ephraim, Utah to Alma C. and Marie C. Hermansen Lund. She married Ray Peter Frandsen June 15, 1938 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in many capacities. She was active in the community where she taught school for several years, belonged to the literary club, the DUP, and worked for Dr. Stewart for many years.She is survived by her children: Kendall (LaReta) Frandsen, of Sandy, Utah; Norma (Wayne) Overson, of Layton, Utah; Phil (Brenda) Frandsen, of Mesa, Arizona; and son-in-law, Paul Taylor, of Murray, Utah; 17 granddaughters, three grandsons; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph A. Lund, of Ephraim, Utah; sister LaWayne Granlund, of SLC, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; daughter, Nila; sister, Hazel; and a grandson, Clinton.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Gunnison LDS Stake Center. Friends may call Friday evening at the Stake Center from 7-9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery under the direction of the Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home.
