Thelma Caroline Webb Duke, 91, passed away peacefully August 31, 1998.
Born December 9, 1906 in Lehi, Utah to Samuel Pearce Brown and Mary Hill Webb. Married Vaughn Hamilton Duke, May 10, 1926. Thelma was a member of the LDS church and was a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She worked at Utah Poultry and A & R Foods for 20 years. Thelma was a loving mother and grandmother, sharing her homemade quilts with her family. She had a generous and kind heart.Survived by: her three children, Leo V. Duke, Kenneth Webb Duke, and Vionne Duke (DeVon) Holt; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Edna Nye. Preceded in death by her husband and four sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 4, 1998, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary/Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
