Lucille Meldrum Hatch, age 90, passed away August 31, 1998 at home of natural causes incident to age.

Lucille was born August 27, 1908 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, a daughter of David and Mary Ann (Ralphs) Meldrum. She married Kenneth Mayle Hatch on May 5, 1932 in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple. After their marriage, they made their home in Randolph, Utah.She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings. She especially enjoyed her calling with her husband as ordinance workers in the Ogden temple for six years. She was a graduate of the LDS Hospital Nursing School. During the Depression, she worked as the Rich County Health Nurse. She spent many years caring for the sick and helping with the health needs of the community.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; four daughters, Bernice (Lawrence) Butterfield, Lewiston, UT; Myra (Joel) Carpenter, West Valley, UT; Fern Kimber, Battle Mt., NV; Kay (Bill) Bell, Mt. View, WY; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and six sisters.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 4, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Randolph LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the Church on Friday one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
